I have the Browse to Save adware. I don’t have the slightest idea how it even got here, but it doesn’t show up in the extensions or appearance sections of Firefox’s add-ons menu, I deleted something that looked like it from my uninstall programs list, but that didn’t work, and I have run Spybot and restarted the computer, still to no avail. Please help. I know it doesn’t actually hurt anything, but it’s already extremely obnoxious.

Such programs as Browse to Save are usually distributed in a bundle with other software. Typically, that's freeware and shareware applications that include such apps for monetization purpose. If you want to prevent them, you should carefully monitor each installation window of the software and simply unclick unfamiliar entries.
When trying to get rid of Browse to Safe, you should uninstall not only this adware, but all free applications that may have installed this app on your computer. In addition, you should fix each of the browsers according to these steps:
Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’ and uninstall Browse to Save.
Click ''Tools' -> 'Manage addons' -> ‘Search Providers’ and choose the search engine you used before.
Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’; find Browse to Save and click ‘Uninstall’.
Go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Options’ and reset the startup homepage to google.com, yahoo.com or similar search page.
Google Chrome:
Click on the ‘Customize and control Google Chrome’ icon, select ‘Options’ -> ‘Basic’ and change the homepage to google.com or other.
Click the ‘Manage search engines…’ -> choose ‘Google’ and make it the default search engine.
Finally, as you haven't installed this program by yourself, you should scan your PC's system with updated FortectIntego, which has been perfectly working for this threat. However, all viruses mutate because they try to prevent their removal from the system.
