Hello. There are some suspicious problems on my PC and I want to solve them. First of all, WebVeil browser. It was installed on my computer without my knowledge. No one uses this computer except of me. Moreover, this browser has a homepage called Isearch.appiance.com, which delivers infected search results… It seems that each link provided on this page is malicious, because these links always redirect me to pages filled with promotional content or suspicious offers to install free programs. Can you tell me what to do? Is my computer infected?

Thank you for your question. Both programs that you have mentioned are considered to be potentially unwanted (PUPs). Webveil browser belongs to adware subcategory, and Isearch.appiance.com virus belongs to browser hijacker subcategory. It is not the first case when computer users complain about these two programs - they are often spread together. You should remove both of these programs to keep your computer secured. You can remove them both at the same time with an anti-spyware program. We strongly recommend using FortectIntego for that.
