Yesterday my sister showed my a message on our home pc, saying that there was a major security issue detected on it. It also provides a number, i guess it’s like a technician or something. We tried calling the number but the line was busy. What should we do now? I think all these problems are because my sister is constantly downloading some random games. Anyway, we decided to ask for a help on this site

We are glad addressed us with your problem. We have to warn you not to try calling the number provided in these notifications again. You will not be provided any service. You will be connected to a salesperson who's job is to convince people into purchasing some software to take care of the supposed threat. IT IS A SCAM! There is no major security threats in your PC; the only threat is an adware program which resides on your PC and generates these fake notification. You should scan your system with some reputable anti-malware tool like FortectIntego to detect and delete it. This should stop the notifications from appearing.
