We’ve been hit by what might be a new variant of this ransomware-
It appears to have removed the Symantec Antivirus and then encrypted files with a .wallet extension. asking to contact payday@cock.li
the Avast and Gillespie decrypters were unable to decrypt files.
Has anybody else run into this? Any luck getting files decrypted?
It's possible that developers of ransomware updated the virus. Thus, the decryptor might not be helpful in data recovery. Though, there's not much you can do at the moment. We can only recommend alternative recovery tools and methods presented here and wait for the decryptor's update.
