Have you tried using FortectIntego? This anti-malware has been successfully working on our computers. Besides, beware that you will also have to make some manual fixings when eliminating snap.do from the system. Follow these steps after scanning your computer:
1. Remove Snap.do via Add/Remove Programs list. For that, click ‘Start menu’ -> ‘Control Panel’ -> ‘Uninstall a Program’ or ‘Add/Remove Programs’ and choose ‘Uninstall’ button if you see snap.do or search.snap.do in the list.
2. Remove Snap.do from your browsers:
Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’. Here, look for search.snap.do/snap.do and click ‘uninstall’. Now open IE once again and click Tools -> Internet Option -> General tab. Enter Google or other address to make it the default start page.
Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’ and find search.snap.do/snap.do. Click ‘Uninstall’. Now open Mozilla Firefox once more, go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup and select ‘Show a blank page’ when Firefox Starts or set a certain website, like Google or similar.
Google Chrome:
Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for snap.do and other unknown extensions and get rid of them by clicking on the Recycle Bin. After that, choose ‘Manage search engines’ and change the default search engine to google or other and delete snap.do/search.snap.do from the list. Then Go to section “On start” and make sure you get blank page while creating new tab.
Good luck!
