Bitpaymer ransomware does not seem to steal any private information. Thus, it only operates as a file-encrypting virus. However, malware developers are famous for creating Dridex banking trojan. Hence, they might update ransomware and add additional features, such as data stealing. For this reason, it's better to avoid its attack or remove it immediately after the infiltration.
