Hi, I was affected with Bora and Reco ransomware. I succesfully removed the virus but I can’t find a way to recover my files. I tried Shadowexplorer, Data Recovery and Stellar Data. Stellar Data found a few but I could not read them.
Is there any other solution?

Malware that you mention is not that easy to remove, so you achieved a big thing. Unfortunately, data encrypted by such ransomware, in most cases, remains damaged. Especially when there are no decryption tools released for all versions of the threat.
As we mention in the Bora virus removal guide there are a few different methods to recover affected files, but newly released versions are not the ones that get included in the database of decryption tools.
As for these two reco and bora versions, when your files get encrypted using offline keys, you can possibly rely on Emsisoft decryptor. Otherwise, there is little to no possibility that your files will get restored. Also, when you remove certain parts of the virus files from the machine decryption can be taken off of the table entirely.
If that is the case, your only promise is data backups stored on external devices or cloud storage. You can keep those encrypted files and expect to receive more updates from researchers that develop decryption software in the future.
