Hello. I haven’t encountered ransomware before, so I’m not sure how should I delete it permanently. My anti-virus program works and it has detected the virus. But somehow I’m still concerned whether the virus has been completely eliminated. Another thing that makes me worry is the decryption of the locked data. How can I get them back? Should I pay the ransom? Thank you.

Thank you for contacting us. We advise you to install an anti-spyware program which does not delete ransomware, but it also comes in handy when detecting them. Take a look at this guide to find out how to prevent the virus: Black Shades removal. The best way to recover the files is from a back-up, but it seems that you don't have any back-up copies? You can change the settings on the system to set automatic back-up. Thus, if any ransomware attacks your computer, you will have the source where to restore the personal data from. Lastly, you might try such data recovery programs as PhotoRec or R-studio.
