I have a major problem here 🙁 I cannot access my files anymore. THEY ALL HAVE BEEN LOCKED BY Rokku VIRUS!!! I tried changing back the extension from .rokku to, like, the regular extensions but that didn’t work… I think I must recognize the defeat. Or is there something I can do about it?? Btw, my antivirus does not work either. I think this can also be due to this virus. I might just have to throw my computer away…

Thank you for addressing us with your problem. You definitely do not have to throw your computer away. Even though Rokku virus is a malicious ransomware, it is not a permanent damage to your computer, and you can delete it as well. You will also find manual virus removal instructions in this article, which may help you to decontaminate the virus and you should be able to run the system scan with your antivirus suite. Unfortunately, removing this virus from your computer will not retrieve your files, but you will, at least, be sure no further damage will be caused to your computer.
