SpywareHound review

We have tested free version of SpywareHound on absolutely clean system. The application has found search hijacker that changes the default search page of Internet Explorer web browser. Found registry entry should be located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. However, we didn’t find any suspicious entries there. Existed keys were related to essential Microsoft Windows component, Creative sound card drivers and Nero CD/DVD burning application. Screenshots below prove that SpywareHound uses false positives.

Free version refuses to remove malware it found and asks to purchase full commercial version.

The official site is spywarehound.com. It lacks detailed information about the program. Moreover, it uses annoying pop-ups to attract customers. See another screenshot.

We DO NOT recommend purchasing and using SpywareHound.
