Step 1
go to your program list and remove Blekko and at the same time remove the program youve downloaded from Cnet at the time, just to be on the safe side.
Step2
Run CCleaner to remove any traces left behind

Go to your browser and set it to your preferred search engine.
Then check ALL your browser settings. I mean ALL.
