We are sorry to hear that you have suffered from tech support scam too. Scammers are capable of using numerous tricks to convince people that their computers are infected with dangerous viruses and pretend to be from legitimate companies. But you should never forget that Microsoft does not have customers support line and do not provide malware removal services. Legitimate alerts about detected cyber threats might only be delivered by Windows Defender or other antivirus installed on your PC in the form of a pop-up. Other forms of security alerts are nothing more than tech support scam.
However, you should take immediate action in order to prevent further damage. You have to obtain a reputable malware removal or antivirus software to terminate all malicious components that may have been installed on your PC by scammers. Additionally, change all your passwords and monitor banking transactions in case criminals managed to obtain some of the personal data.
Sincerely,
2-spyware team.
