Something happened when I restarted my Chromebook and I was thrust into a highly undesirable situation wherein I am now forced to use search encrypt, which thoroughly DISDAIN(!). I would dearly love to go back to using good old regular Google or Bing, or…You know; regular search engines. Please help me!

Search Encrypt is an intrusive search engine that can turn web browsing experience to hell. Usually, it is distributed along with freeware. To get rid of this hijacker from your web browser and stop it from spreading across devices, we recommend scanning the system with Reimage.
As soon as you delete PUPs from the system, restore defaults of your web browser. You can find a full guide on how to eliminate Search Encrypt completely here.
Good luck,
