Help! I have installed Weather Wizard and right after doing so I have noticed a looooot of pop-up warning messages and alerts on my screen, saying that my computer is BADLY infected. Should I believe in such statements? I highly doubt that my computer is infected as I am a careful user who avoids visiting dangerous web pages. Did someone hack my PC or something? What am I supposed to do?

Weather Wizard is claimed to be a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which after a successful computer infiltration, places its components on user's system and installs browser extensions to every web browser that is found on the victimized computer. Once this shady software settles down, it starts to send frightening alarm messages for a PC user directly to a computer screen, stating that the computer is heavily infected with malware. However, this program is deceptive. The messages it displays are misleading, and you should not believe what they state about your system's security status. This deceptive software seeks to convince you to call a fake tech support number, which might charge a considerable amount of money per call.

Do not be scared and do not think that your computer is badly infected; if you want, you can check your computer system by scanning it with FortectIntego or any other anti-spyware software and see if there are any threats on your computer system. This anti-spyware program can delete Weather Wizard virus as well.
