Hello, I am worried because I think there is some kind of virus/advertising app installed on my computer… And I do not know what to do to find out what is wrong with my PC. I’ll try to describe as many details as possible.
My browser loads web pages very slowly.
My homepage is set to Search.searchdirma.com.
I receive random pop-up ads when I click on search results powered by this search engine.
Could the problem be related to this search engine? I was thinking about it, but i am not sure.

Search.searchdirma.com is a browser hijacker, which is sometimes called Search.searchdirma.com redirect virus. This PUP is capable of hijacking victim's computer via modified freeware installers. Once it does so, it adds a dubious browser add-on on each web browser and sets Search.searchdirma.com as the main page on them. However, as you have already noticed, this search engine causes untrustworthy redirects to third-party pages, delivers ads and, in general, diminishes your browsing experience.
You can fix all these programs by removing Search.searchdirma.com virus. You can uninstall it using a spyware removal tool (FortectIntego), but if you do not want to use an automatic removal tool, you can try to delete this browser hijacker on your own. This removal guide should help you to successfully complete Search.searchdirma.com removal process.
