Remove View.contextualyield.com ads (Free Instructions)

removal by Jake Doevan - - | Type: Adware

I’m using Chrome web browser at the moment. However, I have noticed that whenever I try to open a page, I usually visit (Facebook, Twitter or simply Google), browser redirects to the page View.contextualyield.com. Actually, this activity annoys my a lot, but what bothers me more is the reliability of the content that I see there. In most of the cases, View.contextualyield.com asks me to participate in a survey or claim the prize. Could you please tell me how to stop those web browser’s redirects?

Security experts have conducted research on View.contextualyield.com URL. What was found?

The 2-spyware research team has investigated this domain for a couple of weeks because lots of people have reported about misleading web browser’s redirections to View.contextualyield.com page. To start with, it can be noted that this domain is related to Contextualyield about which we have already spoken in our blog. To be more precise, View.contextualyield.com is an advertising platform that usually contains:

  • Software update prompts (Java, Flash Player, VLC Player, web browser, etc.);
  • Online survey requests;
  • Prize giveaways;
  • Information about various deals, discounts, coupons, etc. or
    Unfamiliar software installers.

Unfortunately, but none of the content provided in this domain appeared to be reliable. It has been found that View.contextualyield.com redirects are caused by adware, which is closely related to doubtful parties and used for affiliate marketing. In other words, this domain may be used for spreading potentially unwanted programs, swindling personally identifiable information (full name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.), promoting affiliate parties and their pages, and so on. Therefore, if you have already received View.contextualyield.com pop-up ads withing Chrome, IE or Mozilla Firefox, bypass them no matter how catchy they may appear. Otherwise, you may find your web browser hijacked or start receiving an excessive amount commercial/non-commercial advertisements due to the infection of another adware.
