I have been dealing with this scam on my Facebook:
Hi Everyone! 😀 A few days ago I saw an article on how you can get a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9 for 1$ if you live in Australia. You just need to answer 4 questions correctly! 🙂 It turns out that all you need to do is simply enter the code “TM9234KX” in Google and click on the first link in the results. Read this article to learn more. It’s very easy! 🙂 Yesterday, a courier brought me a package which contained the brand new Samsung Galaxy s9! Better hurry up, as the promotion ends today! 😀
I have run malawarebytes and bitdefender several times and my Facebook is still filled with this fake alert. How do I remove this?
It seems that you have encountered a scam caused by one of the members in the Facebook virus family. This is the type of malware that targets various devices of Facebook users and employs tactics like spam messages, scams, social engineering and tons more.
It is not that easily removable as other mobile malware versions because this scam message appearing on your Facebook is really caused by the virus on your mobile device. The theme of Samsung creates the feeling of legitimate content and masks the main purpose. It is a common feature of malicious scams.
For the malware termination, you should run a few processes on the system. First, you can run a system scan with the anti-malware program and see if the machine is infected with anything more. Then, try changing all passwords for your accounts and proceed with manual uninstall. You should disable and uninstall all suspicious apps and programs.
You can check our provided article and go to the removal guide where we have a few different step-by-step guides to help you with Facebook virus removal.
