Internal-scanning.com is a bogus website created by crooks and disguised to look like a security alert from McAfee. It tries to trick people into thinking that their system is in danger. Of course, McAfee has nothing to do with this fraudulent campaign. The main goal of this scam is to redirect people to the official McAfee website.

Crooks can make money through the affiliate program. They receive a cut from every subscription purchase. Additionally, the site can also start causing pop-up spam.
