Any help with Cerber virus (.bae1 extension) would be greatly appreciated. I was infected last night and when I tried to “fix” the problem by starting the computer in safe mode I became locked out altogether….. my 4-digit pin is not recognized on startup. Will not allow me to use flash-drive to recover password. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Can you help me with Cerber 4.0, 5.0? It added .bae1 extensions to my files..

We are sorry that your computer has been infected with Cerber virus. However, you need to remove the virus from the computer with a help of reputable malware removal program. In order to install or run it, you may need to start your computer in Safe Mode to disable the virus. For that, you have two options. Probably, you have tried to reboot your device to the Safe Mode with Networking. However, you should try System Restore method. We have prepared detailed instructions here. Please follow them carefully. Then, install, update and run your preferred malware removal program. We highly recommend scanning the system several times to be sure that ransomware with all its components is removed entirely.
When the virus is removed from the system, you can use backups to restore encrypted files. If you do not have them, please try additional data recovery methods presented here. We cannot assure that all your files will be restored successfully. Though, it's the only option to rescue at least some of the encrypted files. Cerber decryptor hasn't been released yet.
Sincerely,
