Customer Promos (developed by SuperWeb LLC) is identified as an ad-supported software, assigned to the ‘potentially unwanted programs’ (PUPs) group. This program is an intrusive computer parasite that hardly has any use. Users who have accidentally installed this software claim that it delivers various e-shopping offers including discount codes, price comparisons, coupons, and similar deals. Unfortunately, they have also noticed that the majority of these offers are fake and misleading. Obviously, they want to remove this dubious adware software from their computer quite soon after installing it.
How does Customer Promos work?
When Customer Promos app enters the computer, it adds an extension to your web browsers (all of them). Then it starts to supervise your activity on the web, collecting some required information to find out what your interests are. It seeks to obtain such information about you or your computer:
- IP address;
- geolocation of your device;
- websites visited;
- search queries entered.
After it gathers the aforementioned information, it routs out targeted advertisements from its server and sends them to you. According to the developers of this software, these ads by Customer Promos might be “displayed to as you use your browsers, including, without limitation, banner and video ads, in-text ads, and links, web browsing-related ads, interstitial, transitional, search, and full page ads.”

In other words, you will be spammed with various forms of useless Customer Promos ads. Do you know why we are calling these ads useless?According to our research, the most of these ads are designed fraudulently – they display a catchy offer while in reality there is no such offer. Therefore, clicking on such fake offer can lead you to untrustworthy third-party websites. As a matter of a fact, such redirects increase web traffic to particular websites and, as a consequence, generate pay-per-click profit for the developers of Customer Promos. Unfortunately, SuperWeb LLC is not liable for any damage you may experience by visiting these sites. We do not recommend visiting them at all – they might be infectious or malicious. If you want to bypass visiting such untrustworthy web sources and browse the Internet without annoying interruptions, you should remove Customer Promos adware using an anti-spyware software like FortectIntego.
How did Customer Promos hijack my PC?
A deceptive software distribution technique is used to spread Customer Promos .exe file. The developers of this questionable application commonly bundle this program with freeware or shareware. As a result, some inattentive PC users install this adware without even realizing that. If you do not want to install PUPs alongside other programs, you should always opt for Advanced or Custom installation mode. These settings commonly provide an extra setup window that presents a list of ‘recommended programs’ that can be installed alongside the primary program. Deselect these proposals, because in most of the cases, precisely these ‘recommended programs’ appear to be PUPs.
If CustomerPromos adware has already slithered into your machine unnoticed, you might want to uninstall it. The manual Customer Promos removal guide is given on page 2.
How to eliminate this potentially unwanted program from the computer?
Customer Promos pretends to provide useful shopping deals, but it is pretty obvious that this software functions in a slightly different way than it promises to. We advise you to get rid of this worthless application with no delay. As we have mentioned earlier, you can take the weight off your shoulders and eliminate Customer Promos virus automatically using SpyHunter or a similar anti-spyware program. If you still want to opt for a manual removal option, scroll down this page to find a manual removal guide, which a professional 2-spyware research team has prepared for you. Good luck!
