User-Agent Switcher Ads. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Ugnius Kiguolis - - | Type: Adware

Why is User-Agent Switcher app not a reliable application?

User-Agent Switcher and its ads may seem like a useful, browsing experience-enhancing application. Unfortunately, after a thorough investigation the security experts found that often, User-Agent Switcher hijack the computers without their owner’s consent, involves in shady advertising and may even track data. It is highly doubtful that any of these features can be applicable to a legitimate and trustworthy application. Another aspect adding to the suspicions is that the User-Agent Switcher belongs to the family of Yontoo company products which receive a lot of critique in the security community. This application stands together with programs like Facebook Notifications and Hide My AdBlocker that are designed to advertise affiliate websites, this way making a profit for its creators. If being interrupted with numerous annoying advertisements and unpredictable redirects is the least what you desire while browsing online, you should remove User-Agent Switcher from your computer unhesitatingly, using some reputable antivirus utilities such as Reimage.

As if the promotion of numerous third-party websites in its ads is not enough, often the User-Agent Switcher redirect the users to these sites against their will. Here is where the data tracking comes into play. The virus uses the information it gathers about your browsing activity to modify the ads and make them more appealing to your interests. This way, there is a much higher possibility that more users will be tempted to click on these ads and, naturally, generate more profit for the adware creators. Nevertheless, besides the User-Agent Switcher ads, there are a number or other problems this virus may trigger on the infected device, such as system slowdowns, browser errors and other security issues. Needless to say, waiting it out is not the way to go with this program. You have to take matters into your own hands and carry out the User-Agent Switcher removal as soon as possible.

It can also sneak into the system through fake software update notifications or be carried into your computer by freeware or shareware applications. User-Agent Switcher can successfully hide inside the software packages and install without straightforwardly asking for permission.
