The app is presented as a useful shopping helper which is created to help users shop online. They are promised to get a possibility to choose from a big variety of exclusive shopping stores, and also save money by getting premium discounts. However, do not get tricked by these misleading promises. If you thought that you could save the money with the help of ShoppingDealsLive, note that this extension do not improve people's online browsing sessions and is more known as an intrusive and unwanted activity.

Right after being installed, this potentially unwanted program[2] drops the ShoppingDealsLive Toolbar onto your browser and starts promoting third party sites. It does that by using simple technique – by placing in-text links, banner ads and similar content into your search results. The most serious issue is that we cannot guarantee that each of these third party sites is harmless. You can be tricked into revealing your personal information or may even install malware without knowing that.

Additionally, this browser hijacker starts interrupting its victims each time they start browsing on the web. As a result, their browsing decreases dramatically. It can also collect NPII about its users, what means that your email address, computer's IP address, its location, Internet provider, search queries and similar data becomes available.

As it is clear, the main aim of app's developers is to gain revenue. Program's owners are known for pushing users to use MyWay.com while surfing the Internet. The converted new tab includes these links:

  • Coupons.com;
  • Uncommongoods.com;
  • Hobbylobby.com;
  • Wayfair.com.

Fortunately, if you have this toolbar installed on your browser, you can eliminate it in a very fast and simple way. The ShoppingDealsLive removal can be performed by installing such an anti-malware program as FortectIntego. However, you can use any software, which is known to be reliable, you want.

Right after you download the scanner, follow its installation wizard and run the app. To remove ShoppingDealsLive entirely, you will only take several minutes. However, do not forget to double check if the system is properly protected before starting your next browsing session.

  • Surf the Internet carefully and pay attention to every site you visit;
  • Download/install your programs only from trusted sites and direct links;
  • Do not enter any suspicious looking sites and decline all offers to download/install dubious and malicious looking programs;
  • Although, if you did enter an unknown site, leave it immediately and never return;
  • Always chose “Custom/Advanced” settings while doing downloading/installing step of various programs;

How to prevent from getting stealing programs

Access your website securely from any location

When you work on the domain, site, blog, or different project that requires constant management, content creation, or coding, you may need to connect to the server and content management service more often. The best solution for creating a tighter network could be a dedicated/fixed IP address.

If you make your IP address static and set to your device, you can connect to the CMS from any location and do not create any additional issues for the server or network manager that needs to monitor connections and activities. VPN software providers like Private Internet Access can help you with such settings and offer the option to control the online reputation and manage projects easily from any part of the world.

Recover files after data-affecting malware attacks

While much of the data can be accidentally deleted due to various reasons, malware is one of the main culprits that can cause loss of pictures, documents, videos, and other important files. More serious malware infections lead to significant data loss when your documents, system files, and images get encrypted. In particular, ransomware is is a type of malware that focuses on such functions, so your files become useless without an ability to access them.

Even though there is little to no possibility to recover after file-locking threats, some applications have features for data recovery in the system. In some cases, Data Recovery Pro can also help to recover at least some portion of your data after data-locking virus infection or general cyber infection.
