Thejornal.xyz is the program that triggers constant redirects, pop-ups, banners that come to your screen and often directly to the desktop when the browser is closed.

The shady site tries to trick people into allowing additional content and subscribing to spam notifications. Thejornal.xyz ads are caused by the PUP and similar adware-type intruders that only focus on creating redirects and triggering problems with the browser, but various changes happen in settings, system folders. • Open Google Chrome browser and go to Menu > Settings.

• Click on More actions and select Block.
• Open Internet Explorer, and click on the Gear icon at the top-right on the window.
• Select Internet options and go to Privacy tab.
• In the Pop-up Blocker section, click on Settings.
• Locate web address in question under Allowed sites and pick Remove.
